The PPi Workflow

How we take you from first conversation to investor-ready.

Twelve stages. One agentic engine. A living Investor Memorandum that gets stronger every day it exists. Below is the workflow we walk every client through — from the moment we agree to work together to the moment capital lands.

Stage 1 · Client

We orientate, we agree, we gather.

01
Orientation meeting
We meet with the client to walk them through the PPi process, agree management controls and reporting structures, and produce a preferential term sheet for sign-off.
02
Extracting the seed information
We work with the client to capture everything about the business — people, product, market, financials. This forms the seed information ABC needs to begin.
03
ABC generates a bespoke IM template
Two ratified template families (approved by SRI and KPMG) — one for start-ups, one for secondaries. ABC proposes a bespoke content structure based on the seed information. Ref: Typical Template →
04
Initial interrogation
ABC populates the proposed structure with seed content, produces a list of additional information requirements, and refines the optimal IM structure. Output is reviewed with the client; additional content is compiled and loaded.
Stage 2 · Ingestion

The Investor Memorandum becomes a living asset.

ABC converts the initial IM into a machine-readable form and treats it as a living document — something that learns, updates itself, stress-tests itself, and improves continuously. The goal is simple: increase the likelihood of investment and improve the odds of business success.

Stage 3 · Benchmarking

ABC benchmarks the business against global markets.

ABC gathers external intelligence contextually — based on the IM structure and seed content — and evaluates the proposition against global markets to define its positioning. The output is a Global Market Opportunity Assessment grounded in scientific parameters, so ABC understands where the business sits in the broader ecosystem.

Stage 4 · Risk

ABC identifies risk across multiple layers.

Not just what management disclosed, but what ABC discovers independently. It builds a full, ratified risk map — the five traditional pillars (People, Principles, Process, Practices, Perceptions) enhanced with the latest emergent risk trends.

ABC produces detailed recommendations to mitigate risk — traditional and emergent. Some are semantic; others may reshape how the business is positioned, structured, or presented.

We meet with the client to discuss ABC's findings, agree refinements, and ABC then refines the IM against the approved changes.

Stage 5 · Specialist Sub-Agents

ABC becomes fully agentic.

ABC creates specialised AI agents — each responsible for a distinct aspect of the IM. These sub-agents communicate continuously. Any change made by one is evaluated by the others for dependencies and impact on related content and document flow. This constant coordination keeps the IM at the forefront of information excellence.

Stage 6 · Adversarial Challenge

ABC argues with itself.

ABC deploys adversarial agents whose role is to attack the IM the way an investor would — a built-in investment committee, permanent due diligence. They negotiate continuously with the sub-agents, keeping the IM in a state of checks and balances. A critic agent audits, pressure-tests and refines outputs — a digital devil's advocate.

Stages 7–8 · Dynamic Refinement & Real-Time Monitoring

The IM is rewritten as reality changes.

As new information arrives, ABC continually updates and refines the IM while retaining every past version. It monitors news, funding rounds, regulation, competitor activity, financial performance, benchmark changes and investor sentiment — running full IM refreshes, valuation reviews and strategic reviews continuously.

This means the IM is always investor-ready — not just when fundraising starts.

Stage 9 · Actionable Insight

Not just insight — action.

ABC operates continuously in the background, combining quantitative and qualitative analysis with a human-centred perspective. It detects emerging trends, patterns and sentiment signals, and generates evidence-based recommendations and strategies. These are shared with the client, agreed in consultation, and appended to the IM.

Stage 10 · Final Outcome

When ABC reaches its optimal state.

When ABC determines it has achieved optimal state we are notified: the IM is investor-ready. This is not the end of continuous improvement — it marks the point where ABC projects a 100% investment score.

Stage 11 · IM Interactive & Client Briefing

Fully branded. Cognitively engineered.

ABC generates a fully AI-driven interactive presentation branded to the client's company and engineered using human cognitive science principles to maximise engagement, clarity and decision-making impact. AI agents continuously adapt it to stay aligned with the IM.

We meet with the client for formal sign-off on the IM and IMi, agree investor-meeting format, and formally transfer ownership — including a secure 12-month license to download and actively use the materials.

Stage 12 · Investor Meetings

We flip the term sheet.

The PPi team introduces the client's proposition at regular investor sessions using the IMi. We align the opportunity with the right investor profile, introduce the preferential term sheet, and gather feedback. First meetings are low-key chemistry sessions — followed by formal investment meetings where, thanks to the ABC process, we normally secure approval in principle.

We typically aim to conclude ABC preparation and investor negotiations within 12 weeks.
